Thanks! the program is called "Motion" and part of the Final Cut Studio package. Although it can be purchased separately.

do you use final cut studion for editing the whole video? what's the price on that?

Yes I use Final Cut to edit my shows. here is the link to the apple store for final cut. Apple Store.

You could use the much cheaper final cut express ( if you have a MAC computer ) to edit your show. but iMovie would probably do the trick.

On Windows I would probably look at Sony's Vegas software ( not sure how much that is ).

don't know haven't used it in years. adobe after effects has similar features

I'm having trouble finding some things on the apple site. Does FinalCut work on windows or just mac? can motion 3 be puchased seperate for final cut?

final cut and Motion is only for Mac. it will not work on Windows. You want to look at adobe after effects, unfortunately it's $999. I am really unfamiliar with the other windows software for doing this kind of stuff. Sorry I am not much help past that. Maybe Brad or Joel has some Ideas they do their shows on windows PC's
