On the other hand, for novelty campfire singing you can't beat my renditions of \"They're Coming to Take Me Away\" followed by the yodelfest in its original key, \"The Lonely Goatherd.\"

They're coming to take me away HAHA!
They're comingto take me away
Ho ho! Hee Hee! HaaHaa!
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those
nice young men in their
clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away! hahaaa!

To the happy home,
with trees and flowers and chirping bird and
basket weavers! Who sit and smile and
twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY!!!!

Unless you'd rather grace us with a rendition of the Matterhorn yodelers?(runs to find some palm leaves to plug her ears)

OK, too old now to care...

I just had my 50th (ouch, still getting used to the pain) last week. Think it's the same as GoatCheezes.

So, to do the math: 2007 enter 1965 minus 50 minus...

-8, hmmm, that's not right, oops! CHS! 8!!

So, I was about 8. Way cuter now. Better with a calkulader too. :|

New pic today. From Frontierland, over to Tommorowland:

Well, I presumed there would be some kind of water around since it's a Desert Island Party.

\"Whoo hoo!\" yells Lorien as she jumps into the waves. \"Anyone for a moonlit swim?\"

I miss my swimming pool. Nothing like a New Orleans moonlit sky with the lady and I in magic waters. Parrots fly overhead and wine glasses are at the side on the shallow end.

Good heavens, Gary, thanks for making me FREAKN HOMESICK!!! Those parrots used to love my parents' house because of the big ol pear tree in the back yard! Have you ever seen the documentary, The Parrots of Signal Hill? It was about a wild parrot colony in SF, but it reminded me SO much of N.O.!

Now all you have to do is say \"Confederate Jasmine\" and I'll burst into tears!

Not to worry.

Not only is marshmallow cream a versitle sweetening aid (and floor polish), when liberally rubbed on the user, it provides excellent insulation properties, and acts as an effective flotation system as well.

Party on Dudes! :bday1:

Lo this is mostly for you, but everyone should have a look. Google got itself into a bit of trouble with a longstanding (I think) conspiracy that they were holding out on Gulf Coast satellite imagery post Katrina. Regardless of your take on the issue the image pastiche of my neighborhood is complete and on the terraserver.

I will not post it here because of the bandwidth required and the size of the picture itself must be fairly large to glean detail. My house is easy to find. The walk to the front door is almost dead center in the photograph. The rectangular black mass in the back yard is the pool, still not drained. In the bottom left of the pool is part of the deck that floated into the pool from the south (right) side of the yard.

I am guessing this shot was taken in either late October or early November 2005. Our Saturn (car) has been removed from the driveway, which puts it after October 10, but the fallen tree on the South (again) right side of the house is brown but not yet removed, meaning the new owners had not yet taken possession, putting the photo before February 2006.
